Film and TV Show Downloads - Why DVDs Are Old News and Downloading Movies Rules!
I own a lot of DVDs. I mean seriously, a lot. At last count, over 500, and I can honestly say I've watch all of them at least once. My collection, which has grown due to my OCD nature of needing to have every release, every special edition, every boxed set or promotional release of all my favourite films and TV shows, I think puts me in a authoritative position to comment on DVDs.
You might be asking yourself - Why would someone who owns that many DVDs write an article on how much DVDs suck? - Well as an expert on the subject I'm here to tell you. I love my DVDs and I'm proud of my collection, don't get me wrong.
However, I recently signed up to a free movie download site, and I really wish I had known about this before now. The site I subscribe to has all the Movies, Music and TV shows I could ever need. I no longer have to go from store to store to hunt down that obscure movie I want. I no longer have to worry about scratching discs, or my discs deteriorating over time. I don't have to worry about where I'm going to put the damn things, because storage space becomes a real concern when your collection goes into the high hundreds, or even the thousands.
Now all my movies are stored on my computer, with no more worries about losing or scratching discs. When I want a new movie I don't have to hunt it down and pay ridiculous prices for it, my movies come to me. I just do a quick search and download and I've got it in no time.
Thanks to the internet my hobby of watching and collecting films has become much easier and less stressful and more fun to boot.
